Wood Earring Designer

Meet Gina Rodgers

Gina Rodgers, owner, grew up in Pennsylvania surrounded by rolling hills, small mining towns and working farms. Embracing her German-Sicilian upbringing

and their love of food, family and home, she developed an aesthetic that speaks to these hearty roots and their continuous inspiration. She favors rustic up-cycled designs with a touch of charismatic flair. In addition to graphic designer and artist, Gina is a wife and mother of two young boys.

About Her Work
"One of my favorite things to do is create something beautiful out of found and rustic items. I began working with rustic stone tiles and I saw an opportunity to expand my work from coasters to using up-cycled wood for wood earrings when I began working with various types of exotic and recycled wood that inspired me. Adding a laser engraver to my workshop allowed me to combine graphic design with dimensional and functional art, making wood earrings. I’ve always loved the beauty and inconsistent textures of natural materials. From tumbled stone and cork to wood and metal, I felt bringing these mediums together to create a collection of wood earrings in a unique way with varied contrast and rich texture would create a truly unique style of earring. I seek to combine the unexpected to capture everyday experiences. "-Gina
